      James and Tasha Johnson have been youth pastors since 2008. Tasha is the daughter of Pastor Darrell and Donna Barber. Tasha has been raised in Zion and has had a passion for the Lord all of her life. She has always had a heart for the youth and has developed into an able minister of the Lord. James has a heart to restore the order of the Lord into our youth and show them that Jesus has a better plan for their life than what the world has to offer them. Together they bring a balance of both order and vision. 
 

Generation Next Mission Statement 

* We’re devoted to train up the youth in this generation to change and impact our church body, our families, our schools, our community, and our world;

* To empower our youth to go beyond common expectations and fulfill their calling;

* To share the Good News with everyone within our reach;

* To show the world that we are a chosen generation ( 1 Peter2:9) not a lost generation;

* We want to have the heart of a servant;

* We want to be the salt of the earth, and the light of the world; (Mat.5:13-16)

A Word From James and Tasha 

      The world craves the savor of the salt we have to offer, His name is Jesus. He is the Spice of Life. Our youth desire a word of life, and an opportunity to express themselves freely. At Good News Worship Center we embrace diversity and encourage everyone to find what God has called them to.
